    Michael Woodward, MPT will be presenting this CEU event tomorrow, January 24 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. There are two (2) CEUs available.

    Michael Woodward, MPT, has over 20 years of experience specializing in the areas of hospital-based acute care and rehab, home health, chronic pain, long-term care and outpatient rehabilitation. Michael has countless hours of advanced training and has received his Vestibular Certification through the American Institute of Balance in Largo, Florida. He has assisted with numerous research projects focusing on post-stroke recovery and rehabilitation and is currently an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Among his other career achievements are owner/practicing manager of Blue Ridge Physical Therapy in Independence, Missouri, guest lecturer and national faculty with Scientiae and an adjunct faculty member for the Physical Therapy program at Rockhurst University, where he received his Master’s of Physical Therapy degree.

    Learning Objectives:

    • Demonstrate knowledge of the anatomy of the vestibular system.
    • Identify two clinical tests to assess VOR function.
    • Define visual dependency and methods of clinical testing.
    • Discuss the interpretation of oculomotor testing to identify central involvement.
